Net Magnito Terms of Service
Last updated: 15 July 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Net Magnito Android application (the "App"), provided by Inferno Tech ("Inferno Tech", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. The service
Net Magnito is a neutral peer-to-peer file-transfer, download-management, and media-playback tool. The App can process torrent files and magnet links supplied or selected by you. Inferno Tech does not provide a public torrent index, choose the content you transfer, host your downloaded files, or guarantee that third-party content is available or lawful.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of accepting these Terms. If you are below the age of legal capacity where you live, you may use the App only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.
3. Licence
Subject to these Terms, Inferno Tech grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control. Components distributed under open-source licences remain governed by their respective licences, which are available through the App's open-source licences screen.
You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, sell, rent, sublicense, bypass security controls, or create a derivative commercial service from the proprietary portions of the App except where applicable law or an open-source licence expressly permits it.
4. Lawful and acceptable use
You are responsible for every torrent, magnet link, file, tracker, feed, network endpoint, and destination you provide to the App. You may use the App only for content that you own, are authorised to transfer, is lawfully licensed, is in the public domain, or may otherwise be transferred under applicable law.
You must not use the App to:
- infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights;
- distribute malware, mobile unwanted software, stolen data, or harmful executable content;
- access systems or networks without authorisation, evade security controls, or disrupt services;
- initiate software downloads for another person without that person's informed action and consent;
- harass, exploit, threaten, or unlawfully monitor another person;
- violate export controls, sanctions, court orders, or other applicable laws; or
- misrepresent Inferno Tech as the source, publisher, or approver of third-party content.
Downloading a file does not grant you intellectual-property rights to it. You are responsible for determining whether transfer, possession, playback, sharing, or seeding is lawful in your jurisdiction.
5. Peer-to-peer operation and seeding
Torrent technology exchanges data directly with third parties. When a transfer is active, your IP address, client information, requested pieces, and uploaded pieces may be visible to peers, trackers, DHT participants, network providers, and rights holders. Completing a download may not stop uploading immediately when seeding is enabled.
You are responsible for selecting appropriate upload, seeding, VPN, proxy, Wi-Fi, battery, scheduling, and privacy settings. Encryption options do not guarantee anonymity. Review the Net Magnito Privacy Policy for more information.
6. Files, storage, and device resources
You are responsible for selecting destinations, maintaining backups, and verifying downloaded files. Incomplete torrent files may be sparse or unusable outside the App until their required pieces are available.
Torrent downloading, uploading, hashing, and high-resolution media playback can consume mobile data, bandwidth, storage, battery, memory, CPU, and may increase device temperature. Your carrier, internet provider, VPN provider, proxy provider, or storage provider may charge fees or impose limits. Inferno Tech is not responsible for those charges.
The App may pause, defer, or stop transfers because of Android background limits, notification permissions, storage errors, network changes, battery or thermal protection, configured schedules, or service timeouts. You remain responsible for confirming transfer completion and file integrity.
7. Software and executable files
As a general file-transfer client, the App may be technically capable of downloading archives, packages, or executable files selected by you. Inferno Tech does not verify or endorse those files and does not grant permission to install them. You must not use the App to distribute malicious or unwanted software.
The App is distributed and updated through authorised app-store mechanisms. It is not intended to modify or update itself using downloaded torrent content.
8. Third-party services and content
The App interoperates with independent peers, trackers, DHT networks, cast devices, operating-system services, Firebase, and services you configure such as VPNs or proxies. Those services are not controlled by Inferno Tech and may have separate terms and privacy practices.
Third-party names, media, software, and links remain the responsibility of their owners and providers. The ability to open, play, cast, or transfer a file does not mean Inferno Tech sponsors or approves it.
9. Updates, availability, and changes
We may add, change, suspend, or remove App functionality to improve security, reliability, compatibility, or legal compliance. Updates for the Google Play version are delivered through Google Play. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, continued compatibility with every device, tracker, peer, codec, storage provider, or Android version.
10. Privacy
Our handling of information is described in the Net Magnito Privacy Policy. You acknowledge that peer-to-peer transfers necessarily disclose network information to independent third parties as described there.
11. Intellectual property and reports
Inferno Tech and its licensors retain rights in the App, branding, and original materials, excluding user content and open-source components governed by their own licences.
If you believe the App or Inferno Tech-controlled material infringes your rights, contact us with identification of the protected work, the material at issue, your contact information, and a good-faith statement supporting your request. We cannot remove files hosted only by independent peers, but we can review material or links under our control.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, transfer speed, peer availability, file integrity, codec compatibility, anonymity, or legal status of third-party content.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Inferno Tech and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; loss of data, files, profits, goodwill, or business opportunity; device or network charges; third-party claims; or harm resulting from content or services not controlled by Inferno Tech.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability relating to the App will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the App during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or the minimum amount required by applicable law.
14. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the App at any time and uninstall it. We may suspend distribution, support, or access to Inferno Tech-controlled services when reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or a material breach of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to mandatory consumer protections and any forum required by applicable law, courts located in Puducherry, India will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms.
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and allow 30 days for an informal resolution, unless urgent relief or applicable law requires otherwise.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect App, legal, or operational changes. We will update the date above and provide reasonable notice of material changes through the App, website, or store listing. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
